The UAE Police Supercar Fleet

It’s a natural reaction, when you see a police car ahead, to slow down, be careful, and not get his attention! You’re probably looking at a standard saloon, a family car with the police colours on, but things would be very different if you were in the United Arab Emirates.

There, the police fleet is representative of the vast oil wealth of the region, and includes some of the most exotic machinery you could imagine – including a Ferrari police car. If that sounds excessive, wait until you read what else their traffic police get to play with!

Ferrari FF

The UAE is, in fact, famous for its supercar police vehicles, and has been for some time. The current fleet, however, is perhaps the most impressive. There is more than one Ferrari police car – including a fully liveried Ferrari FF, the perfect vehicle for high speed chases – and the exotica doesn’t end there.

A recent publicity line-up showed a selection of cars in the UAE police’s green and white livery – striking it is, too – including a Bentley Continental GT, an Audi R8 and – in a nod to the electric future – a stunning BMW i8 police car. And that is just the tip of the iceberg!

Exotic and Unusual

The exotica among the fleet are generally used to patrol areas where tourists are prevalent – a deliberate choice to enhance the image of the UAE – hence visitors get the chance to see rare vehicles such as a Ferrari LaFerrari, an Aston Martin One-77, a Porsche 918 and a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, as well as various McLaren’s, and – for many the cream of the crop – a Bugatti Veyron, fully resplendent in police colours.

No other police force in the world boasts a selection of vehicles as exclusive and impressive as this, and we can see no better reason to make the UAE a destination for our next holiday!

His therapist suggested that to overcome the addiction a healthy dose of Ferrari Blogging and Spotting will help, and with that SupercarTribe.com was born!
