It can be argued that this Bentley Continental GT is all the car you need. Looking for something stylish? Look no further. Want an athletic coupe that can also provide endless comfort on long slogs? This is your car. And a sure-footed all-wheel-drive system means it doesn’t have to stay put when the weather turns nasty. Heck, there’s even a small backseat for the kids. And this 2018 model features the latest in tech and luxury because this was the year that Bentley finally gave its popular coupe the full redesign it deserved. With the redesign came a new powerplant for the Continental for the first time in 15 years. And what an engine it is.

The twin-turbocharged W12 is rated at 626bhp and an equally-impressive 664 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a new 8-speed dual clutch gearbox, Bentley claims the new engine can send the car to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, and on to a maximum velocity of 207 mph. And if that performance isn’t enough for you, the body lines have grown more athletic as well. Compared to the first-gen Continental GT, the new model is lower, sleeker, and more aerodynamic. To ensure the drive matches the looks, a new all-wheel drive system sends 100% of the power to the rear under normal conditions. And a faster steering rack creates more urgent responses to driver input. Meanwhile, an advanced active roll control system keeps the car level, even when the going gets lairy. Gorgeous contemporary styling adorns the interior of the car, with walnut veneers and supple leather complementing the aluminium trim.

This svelte blue Continental GT is currently offered for sale by T.H. Boler. Here are some of the options listed for the car on their site:

LAUNCH COLOUR SEQUIN BLUE, TOURING SPECIFICATION,EMBRIODED HEADRESTS,BRIGHT COLOURED LOWER BUMPER,HEATED STEERING WHEEL,BENTLEY ROTATING DISPLAY,CONTRAST STITCHING,21″ 5 STAR WHEELS,PIANO BLACK FINISH,CITY SPECIFICATION

Priced at £199,995, this 2018 Continental GT may have to be your only car, because that’s admittedly quite expensive. Good thing this is such an amazingly complete car, then. Few cars can match the experience and performance provided by the Continental GT, even at this price point. And I think it just happens to look best in blue.
