Rolls-Royce Ghost Zenith Collector’s Edition

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a remarkable motor car, one that exemplifies the luxury automobile, and it is equally remarkable to remember that this glorious car has been with us now for 10 years. Born out of the 2009 Concept 200EX, the Ghost is perhaps the very embodiment of what Rolls-Royce is all about, and it is fitting that the company has decided to celebrate this iconic car with a limited run of 50 special editions, the Zenith Collector’s Edition of the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

The last time Rolls-Royce presented a collector’s edition – the only previous time, in fact – was in 2016 when, to celebrate the extraordinary production lifespan of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VII, a limited run of Zenith editions of that car was produced, and immediately became very much sought-after by collectors.

200EX Revisited

The quite stunning 200EX concept was displayed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show to great acclaim, and every edition of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Zenith Edition will feature an ingot made from material from that car. Also exclusive to the Collector’s run will be blueprint-inspired artwork in the centre console, special illuminated door pockets and unique, complex marquetry that is bespoke to this edition.

Speaking about the Zenith edition, Rolls-Royce Motors CEO, Torsten Muller-Otvos, explained:

“The Ghost Zenith Collection presents an entirely forward-looking study of the unique characteristics that have seen Ghost ascend to the status of the most progressive super-luxury saloon ever conceived. This unique Collection provides patrons of the marque with a rare opportunity to own a motor car truly evocative of our time. Ghost is the most successful Rolls-Royce ever created and the Zenith Collection marks an important milestone in our modern history.”

Buyers will be able to choose from the Rolls-Royce Ghost Zenith Standard Wheelbase model, or the supremely luxurious Extended Wheelbase Zenith, the latter of which features special representations of the legendary Spirit of Ecstasy within the cabin. Trimmed to exalted levels of luxury using the finest hides and, as always, finished by hand by highly skilled craftsmen, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Zenith will certainly find its place in the hands of discerning collectors who understand that Rolls-Royce means luxury motoring at the highest level.
